BLACK HISTORY MONTH ‘25
I partnered with Adidas Basketball on designing the NCAA uniforms for Black History Month 20205, for a select number of schools. The concept centered around black ancestral quilt-making, which informed the basketball-themed patterns. Our muse was the great Lusia Harris, the first female drafted into the NBA. The era in which she played college ball inspired our classic approach to details and placements throughout the uniforms and socks (1970’s). I collaborated with the talented Drew Little and Damar Fairbanks from the Adidas team. I was responsible for leading the design and graphics approach, and execution across uniforms, as well as team-issued lifestyle apparel for staff and fans.
